As artists mature, they develop a personal style. This exercise can help you identify your own personal tastes in art. In this exercise, we have tried to include a relatively wide variety of artistic styles that exist in our collection. Naturally, you may like some more than others.
On the next four pages, you will see three thumbnails of paintings that are part of the NMWA's permanent collection. On each page, choose the artwork that you like the best. If you prefer, you can find out more about the painting and artist before you decide by clicking on 'More Info'. When you are finished, the images you have chosen will show up together in your own personal exhibit!
