First Sundays – Locals’ Free Day at the Museum
On the first Sunday of every month year-round, Museum admission is FREE for area locals. December First Sunday “Wild about the Season” special programming will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This special holiday-themed event will include a North Pole letter-writing station, winter ornament craft making, and a visit from bilingual Santa with holiday sing-alongs! Attendees will have the option to donate their ornaments, which will then be taken to Sage Living Center to help spread holiday cheer.
On the first Sunday of the winter months, the National Museum of Wildlife Art organizes a family-friendly day with special programs and events connected to the exhibitions on view.
