Somos de Aquí: The Enduring Wildlife of Puerto Rico
May 4, 2019 - August 18, 2019This exhibition pays tribute to four of Puerto Rico’s iconic native species of wildlife that have survived in the face of an economic collapse followed by Hurricane Maria’s 2017 devastation. The compelling photographs, videos, and interviews in this exhibit tell the story of the Puerto Rican parrot, coqui frog, sea turtle, and the island’s only native mammal – the bat. The backdrop for this exploration is El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rainforest in the United States National Forest System, and Mona Island, an ecological reserve known as the Galapagos of the Caribbean.
This fully bilingual multimedia exhibit, developed in partnership with guest curator and contributing artist Lina Collado García, also features life-sized rainforest trees, a soundscape, and art-making for all ages!
Somos de Aquí: The Enduring Wildlife of Puerto Rico is the first fully-bilingual, large-scale art exhibition in Wyoming.

Tony Foster: Watercolour Diaries from the Green River
Through May 4, 2025Artist Tony Foster became fascinated with the 50-million-year-old Green River fossilized fish when he first saw them in 1985. It was from these small special objects that he comprised the idea to make a group of artworks about the Green River. He began his project in 2018, creating a major painting of Steamboat Rock and the horseshoe bend from his vantage point up a 400 foot cliff. In the summer of 2019 he took a rafting trip from the Gates of Lodore to Split Rock, creating five smaller paintings en route. From these initial works he created this exhibition about, in Foster’s words: “this magnificent river.”
